Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to install a gravel pad?

Gravel pad costs vary depending on the size of the pad, site preparation requirements, material depth needed, and site accessibility. Factors like whether excavation is needed, the type of base material required, and drainage solutions all affect the final price. We provide free on-site estimates where we’ll assess your specific project and give you a detailed quote. Our typical minimum starting cost for small gravel pad projects range from $2,200 – $2,800, this does not include material.

Most residential gravel pad projects can be completed in one to three days, depending on size and site conditions. Small shed pads might take just a few hours, while large parking areas or commercial projects can take longer. We’ll provide a realistic timeline during the estimate process.

Gravel parking areas benefit from periodic maintenance to stay in good condition. High-traffic areas may develop ruts or thin spots over time and need grading or fresh gravel. Proper drainage and occasional surface reconditioning extend the life of gravel parking areas and keep them functional and attractive.

Yes, though sloped sites require additional preparation to create level surfaces and prevent erosion. We may need to do excavation and grading work to establish a stable base, and we’ll incorporate drainage solutions to manage water flow. Sloped installations take more work but are definitely possible with proper planning.

You don’t need to be on-site during the entire project, but we do recommend being available for the initial walkthrough and final inspection. We’ll communicate with you regularly and reach out if we need to discuss any changes or decisions during the work.

Yes, we work throughout the year and adjust our schedule based on weather and ground conditions. Oregon winters can present challenges, but we plan around them to keep projects moving when conditions allow.
