Adding gravel can improve the look of a driveway, but it doesn't fix what's underneath. We find the root cause of the problem and correct it with the right combination of grading, drainage improvements and proper materials. Gravel driveways naturally break down over time, leading to potholes, washboarding, soft spots and drainage issues. Adding new gravel can improve the look, but it doesn't address the underlying cause.
Our repair process corrects those issues at the source. We rework the existing surface, restore the grade and improve drainage so water sheds properly. New gravel is added where needed to strengthen and finish the surface. The result is a smoother, more stable driveway built to last, not a quick cover-up.

Frequently asked questions
Potholes almost always come from water. When a driveway isn't crowned or graded to shed water, rain sits on the surface, softens the base and washes out the fines. Adding more gravel on top doesn't fix it. We regrade the surface and correct the drainage, so the potholes stop coming back.
In most cases, yes. We rework and reshape the gravel you already have, restore the crown and compact it. New gravel is only added where it's needed for depth and coverage. It usually costs much less than a full replacement.
For most driveways we use crushed 3/4" minus basalt. The angular rock and fines lock together when compacted, so the surface stays firm and doesn't roll or rut. Round rock and pea gravel look nice, but they shift under tires.
